IYT recreational certificates
Below are the available IYT recreational certificates:
- IYT Small Powerboat & RIB Master
- IYT International Bareboat Skipper
- IYT VHF SRC
- International Certificate of Competency (ICC) for 10m and 24m vessels (issued under MCA authorization).
General entry requirements:
- IYT Small Powerboat & RIB Master:
While not mandatory, basic boating knowledge and prior experience are recommended. - IYT International Bareboat Skipper:
Applicants must hold or attend the IYT VHF Short Range Certificate (SRC) course and demonstrate relevant boating experience to qualify. - ICC (10m or 24m, MCA):
Issued to eligible holders of the IYT Small Powerboat & RIB Master or IYT International Bareboat Skipper certifications.

- Completed medical fitness certificate, including an eyesight test for IYT MOY courses. ENG1 recommended.
